THE REVOLUTIONARY 50MM DRIVER UNIT
The SMB-01L Special Edition utilizes 50mm high-end driver unit on the stainless-steel mounting. The driver features “free-edge” structure that allows for a higher resolution and dynamic range, models the sound structure of a large speaker. The driver units create the ultimate standard of flatness for mid to low- frequencies, a wide reproductive band with significantly low distortion. The stainless steel driver mount improves damping force, reducing vibrations of the driver unit itself and achieving a more focused, higher-resolution sound image.
ISOLATED DUAL-MONO GROUNDING
Separating the grounds for the left and right channels and using PHONON’s original 4-core shielded cable for both outputs significantly reduces common impedance interference and optimizes the signal path.
SWITCHABLE SIDE PLATES
The switchable plate that lets you choose between a closed and a semi-open design. You can enjoy both closed sounds with more density and semi-open sound with a sense of liberation in one unit.
